Starting to think about designing the app I came up with some initial ideas. I want to create a calming and relaxing feel by the use of colours such as pastels, creams and soft browns. I want the fonts to be traditional and styled like a book. I want the overall style to be basic and easy to understand with a welcoming feel. The layout should be similar on all pages with similar titles and layout so it flows well. I want to include a main menu button which looks like a book.
I want to create icons that are easy to understand and fit the theme and colour schemes.
