Initially when thinking about wrapping paper I wanted to create a repeat pattern that included the illustrations I had done. I came up the the idea of having two card designs mixed together. However after creating the pattern and showing it to other people we all agreed that the paper would be to fussy and without its text would not be as obvious to what the illustrations meant.
I then came up with a more simple but I think a more effective wrapping paper idea. I think taking the textures I took for the cards and having them as the wrapping paper will be a lot better than having it cluttered with image and text as I think it still fits the grunge indie feel while using it as wrap you can add a tag or a ribbon to make it pop.
