Creating a bear Typeface

I decided to create my own typeface for bear. I based the design on 'Century Schoolbook' as it is a font that is used within books and it is traditional like the fairytales. I wanted to portray the fact that fairytales are very old stories therefore I had the idea to make the type look battered and chipped like they are old and worn. This type will stand out more on the card and be more fun and different for the children to look at. I showed my group my type idea and they really liked it and what to include it in the logo and maybe on the card fronts on the story titles.
