Initial Brainstorms

Thinking about cards I began by doing a brief mind map of what occasions card are used for and what common themes can be. After looking at the possible outcomes I decided I wanted to create blank cards that could be used for any occasion from a birthday, to sending a quick message. I also looked at some things that are used to make cards stand out such as foiling, embossing and stick out areas. I can experiment with these techniques.

 

I want to create a range that many people will identify with so I brainstormed some areas that lots of people are interested in.

 The two ares that stood out to me the most were pets and music as it is the most relatable
Next I will follow through with some ideas, initial sketches and research.
