The font cover of a publication is cruital. It is what catches peoples eye and makes them want to find out more. When thinking of initial ideas for my cover I wanted to show the theme of food with slight humour. I created some initial sketches of covers that included my title 'From Chipshops to Restaurants' and though of the idea to have a brown paper background. I decided to keep my design type based as it had enough character and represented my content well. I will print this design onto brown textured paper and then put it on mount board to make it thicker.
