When looking at the competition websites and Briefs the one that stood out most to me was The Penguin Competiton. I am interested in Book design therefore it is a project that I can enjoy. Looking at this years books I was happy to see 'To Kill a Mockingbird' a book that I have read and enjoyed.
In a session we began to identify what would be important to do to prepare for this project. I need to look at covers that already exist for To kill a Mockingbird and look at previous winners of the competition. Look into target audience and the judges styles. Also look at how penguin books are designed and there grid systems. etc.
