I decided to add a flap to make the leaflet more interactive for children. I talked through my ideas for the leaflet and showed my mock up and I got some feedback.
- Thick paper is needed to avoid tearing
- Think more about the placement of the words
- Maybe add a child in the water
- Instead of having what to do in the water think of other information which could be more useful.
- Easy to read writing for children
I talked through this feedback with the group and discussed that it maybe was not a good idea to include a child in the water as if the child might not identify themselves with the child and think it is not aimed at them. And without the child it looks more like it is aimed at individuals. I agreed with the fact that when children are in the water and could be drowning that they would not be calm enough to remember what to do. So I will come up with some other information to go on the back which is more appropriate.
