Final Poster Outcome

I am very pleased with my final outcome. There is only one poster as it was made as a one of a kind exhibition piece. The whole poster is made up of material and stitching. My design decisions were made by researching the Leeds Clothing strike. I wanted to celebrate this historical event as I felt it was really important in feminism and justice. I used the idea of having the feminine touches with the harsher content to have a contrast and show how women can fight for what they believe in. The women outfit and stance shows no nonsense and the atmosphere that there was at the event. Using material made my poster stand out from others in the class and pushed me out of my comfort zone challenging me to explore more traditional and handmade techniques. Overall I am very happy with my outcome and am happy with the reception it was given from others that saw it.
