Why audience is important

There is many different target audience I could target in this campaign and they would all lead to completely different outcomes.

• I could target the men who need help. I could use the campaign to directly speak to the males to encourage them to get help.
• It is shown in research that men are less likely to get or accept help. Therefore I could target their friends and family educating them on the signs and how they can help a loved one.
• I could also target young boys and people to try and prevent the issue.

I think that within my campaign I will focus on a mix of relatives and the men who may feel they need help. But my main aim is the educate the audience and raise awareness of this issue. I need to think about how my style will work along side my aims.
