Logotype Initial Ideas

Today our group met up before a lecture to show each other what we had come up with since our last discussion. We all came to the idea that Spire was the best name for the company. These are our individual ideas.

When creating these designs I tried to include the meaning of spire but also the brand identity which is class. I had the idea to elongate the I to make it the highest point and then place the word cars on the top to show that cars are the main part of the company and the highest priority.

I also liked the design with the black box as it could symbolise the registration plate of a car.

We decided as a group on one of Micheal’s designs 

as we agreed it suited the company well. They were

influenced by a logo design for the company Burdock 

& Co which is another high class business. We then 

began as a group to experiment with the colour and 

typography of this design to see some more possible 

outcomes. Next time we meet we are going to talk 

through some of these possible designs and decide 

on a final logo.
